Very nice set of Artillerie related award documents in used, but very good condition.

Both documents show overall normal signs of wear. They belonged to Obergefreiten Ernst Krieg who served in the 4.batterie II.Abteilung Artillerie Regiment 814. This Abteilung was formed in April 1940 and saw its first combat during the invasion of France as part of the 1.Armee. After that it participated in the invasion of Russia as part of Panzergruppe 1. Later it served also under the 6.Armee, 11.Armee and the 18.Armee.
The set consist out of;
- Verwundentenabzeichen in Schwarz award document. Dated 1 September 1944.
- Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2.Klasse mit Schwertern award document. Dated 30 January 1945. Signed by the commanding General der Artillerie Siegfried Thomaschki.
