Nahkampfspange in Gold Document Grouping

All documents of the grouping show overall signs of wear. They are named to Unteroffizier Nikolaus Körner who served in the 12.Kompanie Grenadier Regiment 505 which was part of the 291.Infanterie-Division. This division operated on the eastern front in areas like Leningrad, Wolchow, Welikije Luki and Baranow. 
The grouping consist out of;

• Nahkampfspange in Gold announcement letter to Nikolaus. Dated 26.2.1944.
• Eisernes Kreuz 1.Klasse award document. Issued on the 26th of September 1944 (document is shortened). 
• Portrait of Nikolaus which is dated 1943 on the back. He is wearing the Nahkampfspange in Silber on his chest. 
• A print from his soldbuch which is a list of all the medals he has won/earned. He was highly decorated!

Interesting small grouping especially since the Nahkampfspange in Gold was only awarded 635 times during the war which makes it very hard to find!
