Very nice 3-piece award document grouping in used, but very good condition.

The documents show overall normal signs of wear. They belonged to Unteroffizier Kurt Förster who served in the 4.(M.G.) Kompanie Infanterie Regiment 320. This regiment was formed in late August 1939 and was part of the 212.Infanterie-Division. This division and her units saw its first action during the second phase of the invasion of France. After the defeat of France it went on leave till February 1941. It then got the task to defend the French coast, but in October 1941 it was transported to the eastern front. It fought in Russia in areas like Leningrad and Wolchow.
The grouping consist out of;

  • Eisernes Kreuz 2.Klasse award document. Issued on the 22nd of October 1940. Signed by General der Artillerie Theodor Endres. Wearer of the Ritterkreuz.
  • Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz award document. Issued on the 15th of July 1942. 
  • Ostmedaille award document. Issued on the 17th of August 1942.
