The tag of 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the schwere z.b.V. Batterie 10440. About the beginning of this unit we found nothing, however we found some information that this batterie was, in 1944, used to form the 8.batterie schwere Flak Abteilung 466.
This abteilung operated in Dortmund in December 1944 however was disbanned in that same month. The 8.batterie was used to form the 9.batterie Flak Abteilung 333.
