5-Piece s.Art.Abt.844 Award Document Grouping

The grouping shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. They belonged to Sanitäts Unteroffizier Heinz Thiele who served in the Stabsbatterie Heeres Artillerie Abteilung 844. This unit was formed in February 1941 as schwere Artillerie Abteilung 844. This unit fought under different lager units in Bulgaria, Russia and Rumania. 
The grouping consist out;

• Soldatenkreuz des Tapferkeitsordens 4.Klasse Award document. Issued on the 30th of September 1942. Signed by Generaloberst Hans-Valentin Hube commander of the XIV.Panzerkorps. 
• Ostmedaille award document. Issued on the 24th of August 1942. 
• Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz award document. Issued on the 24th of October 1942. 
• Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2.Klasse mit Schwertern award document. Issued on the 20th of April 1943. Signed by the the commander of the XXXXIX.Gebirgskorps General Rudolf Conrad. 
• Eisernes Kreuz 2.Klasse award document. Issued on the 15th of November 1944. Signed by a General der Panzertruppe und Kommandierender General.
