Very nice Grenadier Regiment related Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2.Klasse award document in used, but very good condition.
All document show overall normal signs of wear. They belonged to Obergefreiten Heinrich Andersen served in the 3.Kompanie Grenadier Regiment 209. This regiment was formed in late August 1939 as Infanterie Regiment 209 and was part of the 58.Infanterie-Division. In October 1942 the regiment was renamed into Grenadier Regiment 209. In Russia it operated in the areas of Wolchow, Leningrad, Oranienbaum, Demjansk, Newel, Narwa (Estonia) and later in Memel and Samland.
The document is signed by Generalleutnant und Kommandeur der 58.Infanterie-Division Karl von Graffen. Wearer of the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold, Ritterkreuz zum Eisernes Kreuz and a lot more.
