Gustav earned the Ritterkreuz on the 29th of December 1942 and the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub on the 6th of March 1944. He also earned the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold (08.1942), EK1, EK2, Verwundentenabzeichen in Gold and more.
