Very nice Iron Cross 2nd Class award document in used, but excellent condition.

The document shows overall normal signs of wear. The medal was awarded on the 21st of August 1940 to Friedrich Meyer III who served within Infanterie Regiment 90. This regiment was formed in October 1937 and was part of the 20.Infanterie-Division. This division saw its combat during the invasion of Poland in September 1939 and then Belgium and France. From June 1941 onwards it operated on the eastern front.
The document is signed by Generalleutnant and Ritterkreuzträger Mauritz von Wikorin.
