Nice Wehrmaht Radfahr related award document in used, but good condition.
The document shows overall signs of wear. It's a bit trimmed on the edges, but its solid. The medal was awarded to Gefreiten Gerhard Altstädten who served in the 1.schwadron Radfahr Abteilung 152. this unit was formed in late August 1939 as Aufklärungs Abteilung 152 and was part of the 52.Infanterie-Division. It saw its first combat during the invasion of France in May 1940. After France it saw combat during the invasion of Russia that took place in the summer of 1941 and operated in areas like Bobruisk, Moskau, Orel and Newel.
The document is signed by Generalleutnant Rudolf Peschel who was wearer of the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold and later also the Ritterkreuz.
