The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the Flugstützpunkt Kommando 13/XI Hannover-Vahrenwald. Formed in August 1939 Fliegerhorst-Kommandantur E Hannover-Vahrenwald, but renamed in early 1940. From June 1940 - April 1944 it operated in Laon, France.
