The document shows overall normal signs of use. It was awarded to Stafan Bock who was a Hauptwachtmeister within the Aufklarungs Abteilung 55. This abteilung was part of the 1.Kosaken-Division. In Dezember 1944 it became part of the Waffen-SS. Stefan earned the medal become 'he distinguished himself during the squadron's action at Precno on 29.3.1944 by his special dash and courage'.
The document is signed by Generalleutnant und Divisions-Kommandeur Helmuth von Pannwitz.
