Very nice Wehrmacht Artillerie related promotion document in used, but good condition.

The document shows overall normal signs of wear. It was folded twice at some point. Small tear on the right fold. The document says that Unteroffizier Wilhelm Schicktanz, who served in the 4.Batterie Artillerie Regiment 361, was promoted to Wachtmeister as of 5 Mai 1944. The regiment was formed in November 1943 and was part of the 361.Infanterie-Division. The division and her units where destroyed in the 'Kessel von Brody' (Northen Ukrain) in July 1944. A new Artillerie Regiment 361 was formed in September 1944 and again became part of the same division, but was now called the 361.Volks-Grenadier-Division. It saw action in Arnheim and in the Saarpfalz area where it got decimated. The Artillerie Regiment 361 was rebuild again in early 1945 in Holland. 
The document is signed by the Major und II.Abteilungskommandeur.
