The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the 'Stab und Nachrichten Batterie Flak Ersatz Abteilung 7'. This abteilung was formed in August 1939 in Magdeburg-Prester. In late 1941/early 1942 it was converted in to Schwere Flak Ersatz Abteilung 7. It was stationed in Magdeburg the entire war. The 'O' means the bloodtype of the soldier.
