The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the 'Stab und Nachrichten Batterie Flak Ersatz Abteilung 6'. This unit was formed in August in Hamburg and in October of that year used to form Reserve Flak Abteilung 605. In that same month Ers.Abt.6 was newly reformed with 4 batteries. Later it became Schwere Falk Ersat Abteilung 6. It was stationed in Hannover-Bothfeld. The 'B' means the bloodtype of the soldier.
