The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. It's complete with caption on the back. Engelbert was the commander of U-46 when he earned the Ritterkreuz on 5th of September 1940. He earned the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub in June 1941.
Unfortunately Engelbert was killed in action on the 21st of December 1941.
The size of the photograph is 13cm*18cm. Dated 31 March 1942.
