The medal was awarded to Gefreiten Robert Feuchter who served in the 7.Kleine Kraftfahr Kolonne für Betriebsstoff 94 (Betriebsstoff is Fuel). This unit was part of the Gebirgs-Divisions-Nachschubführer 94 of the 4.Gebirgs-Division, also know as the Enzian-Division.
This division operated in Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Russia, Hungary and Slowakia.
