The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in the '2.batterie schwere Artillerie Ersatz Abteilung (motorisiert) 50. The ersatz abteilung trained and supplied men for 14 different artillerie regiments/abteilungen. The tag comes with its period neck string.
The 'A' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
