The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted in the '2.batterie leichte Artillerie Ersatz Abteilung 17. The ersatz abteilung trained and supplied men to Artillerie Regiments 17,82 and 87. The tag comes with its period neck string.
The 'O' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
