Nice aluminium Erkennungsmarke in used, but good condition.
The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the '1.Batterie Reserve Flakscheinwerfer Abteilung 648'. This unit was formed in August 1939 in Düsseldorf with 3 batteries. Later in the war it got a 4th and 5th batterie. It operated the entire war in Duisburg and fell under the command of Flakscheinwerfer Regiment 74 as part of the 4.Flak-Division. Interesting thing about this tag is that between the 1./ and 'Res' on the tag there was the letter 'L' which stands for Leichte. This was period ''removed'' The 'A' on both sides stands for the bloodtype of the soldier
