The dog tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of use. It belonged to a soldier who served in the '1.Batterie Flak Ersatz Abteilung 36'. The abteilung was formed in the October 1939 in Wolfenbüttel with 4 batteries. In 1941 it was converted in to schwere Flak-Ersatz-Abteilung 36. It remained the entire war in Wolfenbüttel. The 'O' stands for the bloodtype of the soldier.
