The card shows overall normal signs of wear. Josef (Karl) served as a Sturmmann in the 15.Kompanie SS-Totenkopf Infanterie Regiment 3. He was killed in action on the 6th of April 1942 in the area of Utschny which lays in the area of Demjansk. He is burried in the war cemetery of Korpowo.
