Death notice of Franz Resch who died in the Summer of 1943 during combat in Italy.
The card shows overall normal signs of wear. Franz served as an SS-Unterscharführer in the Sturmbrigade "Reichsführer" and fought on the island of Corsica were he was killed in action in the Porto Vecchio area. He earned the Infanterie Sturmabzeichen, Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz and the Ostmedaille.
He is burried in the war cemetery of Bastia, France.
