Death notice of Wilhelm Husingen who died during combat in Russia in January 1944 in Ukraine.
The card shows overall normal signs of wear. Wilhelm served as a Sturmmann within a SS-Totenkopf Infanterie Regiment. He was killed in action on the 17th of January 1944 in the area of Kirowograd. According to the notice Wilhelm earned the EKII, Nahkampfspange in Bronze, Panzerkampfabzeichen in Bronze and the Verwundetenabzeichen.
On the portrait Wilhelm is wearing his combat tunic with some medals pinned on his breast.
