Very nice award document grouping of a Stabsarzt from Aufklärungs-Abteilung 376.

The overall condition of all the 4 document is very good. They belonged to a soldier, a docter named Paul Rieker, who served in the Aufklärungs-Abteilung 376 since the summer of 1943. This abteilung was reformed in the Netherlands from units that survived/escaped the Stalingrad battle. The grouping consist out of the following documents.

  1. A certificate of good conduct for serving the 17th Kompanie of Ersatz Infanterie Regiment 119.
  2. Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2.Klasse awarded on 1 juli 1943 while serving as a Oberartz in the Staff of Aufklärungs-Abteilung 376. Document is signed by Generalleutnant Arnold Szelinski wearer of the Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes
  3. Verwundetenabzeichen in Schwarz awarded on the 7th of November for the wound he got on the 27th of October 1943 while serving in the Divisions-Füsilier-Bataillon 376.
  4. Eiserne Kreuz 2.Klasse awarded on the 20th of December 1943 while serving as a Stabsarzt in Grenadier Regiment 673.
