The overall condition of the document is very good. Folded once in the middle. The Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2.Klasse was awarded on the 20th of April 1944 (Hitlers Birthday) to Feldpostassistent Ewald Schulz who served with the Feldpostamt (motorisiert) 193 which was part of the 93.Infanterie-Division. In 1943 the unit was stationed in Troiza-Chalwiza in the Cholm area and recieved 3988 postbags and 8241 packagebags from the homefront and shipped 1608 postbags and 5222 packagebags to the homefront.
