The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. It's complete with caption on the back. The moment the photo was taken Albrecht was Kapitänleutnant and commander of U-380 which was part of the 29-Unterseebootsflotille.
Albrecht earned the Ritterkreuz in Janurary 1943 as Kapitänleutnant of U-617, the Ritterkreuz with Eichenlaub in April 1943, the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub und Schwerten in Mai 1944 and the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub, Schwerten und Brillanten in November 1944.
The size of the photograph is 13cm*18cm. Dated 15 Mai 1944.
