The canteen shows overall normal signs of wear. The leather straps are supple and solid. The felt cover is complete with all 4 push buttons and are in working order. It's marked 'C.& C.W.43' on the inside. The canteen comes with a red painted mid war bottle which is also marked 'C.& C.W.43'. The strap attached to the screw lid is also marked 'C. & C.W.43'. The funny thing is that they mounted the strap in reverse with the pebbled side down.
The canteen comes with a maker matching green cup which still contains 85% of it's paint.
