The canteen, the leather strap for the canteen lid and the feltcover are all marked with the makers code 'C.F.L.', which indicates the maker is 'Carl Feldhaus Aluminium-und Metallwerke' from 'Lüdenscheid' and dated '1942'. The canteen lid has a crack, which has been nicely repaired (its solid). The canteen comes with a bakelite cup which is marked 1943.
Overall a very nice canteen.
