Very nice late war produced canteen with Gaberdine cover.

The gabardine cover is complete with the 3 buttons. The buttons are a bit rusted, so we did not open them to prevend damage to the cover. The leather straps are present and supple. It comes with a red painted canteen and green 'SMM43' marked alluminium cup which means in made by 'Süddeutsche Metallwarenfabrik' from 'Mussbach' in '1943'.
Overall a very nice hard to find late war canteen with gabardine cover.
