Very nice late war produced canteen with Gaberdine cover.

The gabardine cover is complete with the 3 working(!) buttons. The leather straps are present and supple. The inside of one of the straps is marked 'FSS' which means it was made by 'Frenzel & Sachs' from 'Schneeberg'. It comes with a red painted unmarked flask and nice black bakelite canteen cup which is marked on top.
Overall a very nice late war canteen which would look great on a used late war display.
