Very nice zinc World War 1 Infanterie related tag in used, but very good condition.
The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to Joseph Hamacher who was drafted in the 2.Kompanie Ersatz Bataillon Infanterie Regiment 25. This Ersatz Bataillon was formed in Aachen. Infanterie Regiment Nr.25 was part of the 15.Infanterie-Division and fought on the western front in the French area an der Marne, Champagne, Schlacht bei Perthes-lès-Hurlus und Massiges, Somme, Verdun and later also in Belgium and later again in France.
