Very nice World War 1 Infanterie related tag in used, but excellent condition.
The tag shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to Johannes Ganter who was drafted in the 2.Kompanie Ersatz Bataillon Infanterie Regiment 180. After training he served in the 5.Kompanie Infanterie Regiment 180. We can see that on the back of the tag.
This regiment fought in France in areas like Bapaume, Cambrai, Arras and in Belgium fought in Flanders in Kortrijk, Houthulster Wald and Langemarck. But also in Diksmuide and Antwerp.
