Death notice card of the high decorated Oberjager Sebastian Perschl who died during combat in the Feldlazarett Kranstadt of his wounds.
The card shows overall normal signs of wear. According the notice Sebastian died on the 28 March 1945. Sebastian served within the Jager-Regiment 204 when he was killed. This regiment was formed in July 1942 as part of the 97.Jager-Division. The regiment saw fierce combat in the Kuban area and was one of the last units fighting there before retreating. Sebastian was higly decorated with the EK1, EK2, Nahkampfspange in Silber!, Verwundetenabzeichen in Gold, Kubanschild and the Ostmedaille.
Sebastian is burried at the war cemetery of Siemianowice, Block 17 Reihe 21 Grab 489 - 577
