The card shows overall normal signs of wear. According the notice Otto died on the 28 March 1944 during a scout mission. Otto served within the 2.Kompanie Hochgebirgsjager Bataillon 4. This small bataillon was formed in November 1943 and was active in Italy. Otto is burried at the Cassino war cemetery, Block 24, Grab 631.
