The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. Complete with paper caption on the back.
The moment the photograph was taken Feldmarschall Erwin Rommel visited the Fallschirmjägers in Normandy and spoke to their commander General Eugen Meindl.
Both are high decorated soldiers. The photograph was released on the 20.7.1944, the day of the attack on Adolf Hitler in the Wolfschanze.
Note the Waffen-SS schirmmutze in the back.
The size of the photograph is 13cm*18cm.
