Death Notice Grouping (Panzergruppe Afrika)
All documents show overall normal signs of wear. Christian Wissmann served as a Kraftfahrer within the 5.Grosse Kraftwagen-Kolonne Nachschub-Kolonnen-Abteilung 533. This abteilung was formed in August 1939 and was shipped to Afrika and since September 1941 it was part of Panzergruppe Afrika. Christian and two comrades were involved in a car accident while overtaking. The complete story was written down for his wife by a colleague (Feldwebel Hans Eckardt) of Christian's.
