The document shows overall normal signs of wear. It's solid and free from rips/tears. It was issued to Oberschutze Erwin Mülders who, from 16.Oct.1936 - 29.Oct.1938, served in the 8.Kompanie Aufklärungs Abteilung 6 in Potsdam. This unit was formed in 1938 from Aufklärungs Abteilung 8 and in November 1938 became part of the 5.Panzer-Division.
The document is signed by the Major and Kompanie Chef Freiherr Gottfried von Ecklandtstein. On the back of the document some information about this major has been written. He earned the Deutches Kreuz in Gold in February 1942 whilst served in the II.Bataillon Schützen Regiment 104 and in July 1944 served, as an Oberst, in Panzer Aufklärungs Abteilung 17.
