Details

The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who was drafted/served in the 14.Kompanie V.Abteilung Ersatz Abteilung Luftnachrichten Regiment 2. This Ersatz V.Abteilung of the regiment was formed in 1941 in Braunschweig and exsisted until 1942 and was then moved to France to became part of the Luftnachrichten Ausbildungs Regiment 302. This regiment was stationed in the area of Maubeuge, France and later moved to Reims. It was disbanned after the Normandy invasion.
The 'BL.GR' stands for Blutgruppe' but is not filled in.
