Very nice aluminium Luftwaffe Nachrichten related tag in used, but very good condition.
The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served/was drafted in the 10.(Flugmelde Reserve) Kompanie Luftgau Nachrichten Regiment 12. This unit was formed in April 1938 as Luftgau Nachrichten Abteilung 12 with just 1 company. In July it became a regiment en was enlarged with multiple companies. The 10.Flugmelde Reserve Kompanie was part of the II.Abteilung. The regiment participated in the Westfeldzug (invasion of France) and after the defeat of France it was based in Bretagne. In October 1941 the II.Abteilung (7.-16.(Flugmelde Reserve Kompanie) was used to for the Luftgau-Nachrichten-Regiment Westfrankreich.
The 'Bl'Gr.A' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
