Very nice artillerie related erkennungsmarke in used, but very good condition.
The tag shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the Genesenden-Batterie Artillerie Ersatz Abteilung 27. This abteilung was formed in August 1939 in Augsburg. It trained and supplied soldiers for Artillerie Abteilung 657 and 755 and for 9 different Artillerie Regiments.
The 'O' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
This tag is published in the book 'Deutsche Erkennungsmarken' by Jean Höidal (page 92).
