The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the Wirtschafts Kompanie teilsmotorisiert 10. We could not find any information on this specific kompanie, however we found out that the Wirtschafts Kompanie tmot 9 operated in France and since this tag was found in Belgium we are certain that this unit also operated in France/Belgium.
A Wirtschaft-Kompanie takes care of all supply-related tasks in occupied territory.
The 'Blgr.A' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
