Nice, worn Kriegsverdienstkreuz 1.Klasse document awarded to Unteroffizier Paul Pudlich.
The document shows overall signs of wear. The KVK1 was awarded on 15 November 1944 to Paul who served within the Verwaltungskompanie 3 motorisiert which was a Division unit within the 3.Panzergrenadier-Division. Around the time this document was signed the division and her units where stationed Aachen, Ardennes. It fought during the Ardennes battles and later at the Remagen bridge.
The document is signed by Generalmajor und Divisions Kommandeur Walther Denkert, wearer of the Ritterkreuz and Deutsches Kreuz in Gold.
