Very nice third pattern 'Großdeutschland' Cufftitle.

This is the third version of the 'Großdeutschland' cufftitle which was introduced on 7 october 1940. The letters are made from aluminium thread, showing the word 'Grossdeutschland' in old german 'Sütterlin' script. The letters are hand-embroidered on a fine black (Camelhair type) cloth band and it has 3mm wide aluminum wire Russia-braid at the top and bottom edges. Its approx. 44,5cms in length en 3cm wide.
Overall a very nice cufftitle from a famous and sought-after unit.
