Very nice press photograph in very good condition of Knight's Cross winner Major Ernst Nobis.

The photograph shows overall normal signs of (storage) wear. It's complete with caption on the back. The moment the photo was taken Ernst was commander of Jäger Regiment 204 which was part of the 97.Jäger-Division. Here he is in a meeting with Ritterkreuzträger Hauptmann Höhne, commaner of the III.Bataillon Jäger Regiment 204, in the Donestk area. Note that they are wear the Bergmütze.
Ernst earned the Ritterkreuz in January 1941 and the Eichenlaub in December 1942 as the commander of Jäger Regiment 204.
The size of the photograph is 13cm*18cm. 18.6.1942.
