The photographs shows overall normal signs of wear. It's complete with paper caption on the back. General der Panzertruppe Erhard Raus was the commander of the XI.Armeekorps the moment the photo was taken.
Erhard was awarded the Ritterkreuz on the 11th of October 1941 and the Ritterkreuz mit Eichenlaub in August 1943. Besides these 2 he earned a lot more awards/medals such as the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold, Panzerkampf Abzeichen, Ostmedaille and more.
The other officer is General der Infanterie Otto Wöhler who was awarded the Ritterkreuz in August 1941 and the Deutsches Kreuz in Gold in April 1943. He was the commanding General of the X. Armee-Korps.
The size of the photograph is 13cm*18cm. Dated October 1941.
