The photographs shows overall normal signs of wear. It's complete with paper caption on the back. General Loerzer was the commander of the II.Fliegerkorps. Here he is greeted by Stabchef der SA Wilhelm Schepmann. Note the other Ritterkreuzträger in the back.
Loerzer earned the Ritterkreuz in late May 1940. During the First World War Loerzer was a fighter ace and shot down a total of 44 planes.
