The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall normal signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served within the Restkommando Flak Regiment 6 Hamburg-Othmarschen or Osdorf (both are districts within Hamburg). This unit had the task of ensuring the further relocation of a unit, collecting cargo and preparing it for transport, providing a guard and overall keeping the property available for subsequent users and for future users (units) and maintaining technical operations (heating, water/wastewater supply, fuel, etc.).
The 'A' on both parts of the tag stands for the soldier's bloodtype.
