Details

The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a soldier who served in the M.K.K. Flakkaserne Hilden (Germany). This military base is now known as the Waldkaserne. After the war the British used the base.
'M.K.K.' stands for Militärisches Kasernen Kommando. Flakkaserne Hilden was operational since November 1938. Different Flak Regiments/Abteilung where based here.
