The so-called blechabzeichen shows overall minor signs of wear. Sturzkampfgeschwader 168 was formed in April 1938 with just 1.Gruppe. It was equipped with the Henschel Hs 123 and later with the Junkers Ju87 B (Stuka). In May 1939 it was used to form the I/Stuka-Geschwader 76. It measures 3,1cm in diameter.
