The tag or 'Erkennungsmarke' shows overall signs of wear. It belonged to a Kurt Scheller who enlisted in the year 1924 in the marine which was called the Reichsmarine (later became the Kriegsmarine). He served at the Marinestation Nordsee (N). The 'S’ means 'Seemannischen dienst'.
